Common problems with the Sage Barista Touch

Issue: My Sage Barista Touch won’t pass water through the group head, steam wand or hot water outlet (Porta Filter / Percolator / Coffee maker)

A common problem for the Sage Barista Touch is an internal blockage. This means water won’t pass through the group head, the steam wand or the hot water outlet. The machine makes noises as if the water is trying to pass but either little or no water will.

Issue: The steam wand on my Sage Barista Touch is loose and keeps falling back in manual mode.

This is a common fault with the way the automatic steam wand is fitted in the Barista Touch. Over time the locking mechanism can become loose and so the steam wand falls down in manual mode and causes the steam to cut out.
